Annual Dinner and AGM Weekend January 2023

A well-attended Annual Dinner and AGM, with plenty of underground activities taking place over the weekend too.

It was a return to The Bear in Crickhowell for this year’s Annual Dinner, where a very enjoyable evening was had, as well as an excellent three course meal. As always an appetite was worked up beforehand with a varied selection of caving in our local caves. This included an Ogof Cnwc trip, and a Daren through-trip via Man in the Roof including a foray into Misfit Passage. There were also a number of very different Aggy trips including one team digging in Midnight Passage, while another team successfully bolted up to a high-level passage in Main Passage, plus the traditional annual Aggy bat count.

The AGM took place on the Sunday, as well as caving trips to Craig a Ffynnon, Aggy, Pen Eryr and Llanelly Quarry Pot (which was discovered to be impassable after a short distance due to fallen rocks in the entrance).
