Whitewalls Weekend March 2022

A weekend of fantastic sunshine made the miles of walking between the caves of Trefil a pleasure.

The main Saturday trip was a combination of caving and fell-walking in glorious sunshine. From our starting point in Trefil three very different caves were visited - Ap Robert as far as Toad Hall, followed by an interesting SRT trip in Garn Y Bica and then on to Ogof Tarddiad Rhymney with its large fossil passages. Caving trips to Agen Allwedd also took place on Saturday and work was also continued on the Old Daren Sunday School. Sunday saw a trip to Dali’s Delight in Dan yr Ogof and more work on the Sunday School.

See CSS Newsletter Vol. 64, Nos. 4-6 for Trefil caves trip report.
